In Japan, he crafted and designed Shodoshima House and By the Water's Edge.
In Australia, he created Treehouse Dream and Woven Canopy. In Thailand, he put out Beyond the Square. In Austria, his work Bamboo Tower lit up the night sky of a city.
In Taiwan, he brought together diverse cultures, weaving them into Goddess of the Sea, while in his hometown of Chiayi, he left behind the iconic works Song of the Forest and Moon Reflection in the Pond.

Wen-Chih Wang | Official Documentary
Born and raised in the mountains of Chiayi, installation artist Wen-Chih Wang uses natural materials like bamboo, rattan, and wood to bring his childhood memories of the forest to life. The entire documentary follows Wen-Chih Wang’s artistic journey, first venturing into the deep mountains to collect bamboo and rattan, then traveling to Japan for his creations.
